COPAVISA S.A. de C.V. is born in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz. Our founding members aspire to participate in the development and creation of infrastructure in our location, with the steadfast conviction of understanding our superior performance, identifying areas of opportunity to offer our construction services to the private sector, as well as to the municipal and state ones. The creation of an outstanding impact on our clients drives COPAVISA to seek new market opportunities.

We start operations supporting companies related to the construction sector with the personnel and infrastructure available at that time. At first, we support local and regional companies with the execution of their projects in several specialties.

We become partners of the CMIC in Veracruz State.

We commence operations with the Communications Secretariat in Veracruz State, in FONDEM projects. We develop and execute several sorts of projects, such as bridges, sewage and drainage systems, roads' rehabilitation in emergency zones, and all types of infrastructure for which this resource is destined. COPAVISA executes these projects efficiently and reliably for our client and earns greater trust in the sector.

COPAVISA incursions in Veracruz State in construction projects of infrastructure for potable water systems for the Water Commission of Veracruz State (CAEV), who is in charge of management and administration of all hydraulic infrastructure projects in the state.

COPAVISA is established in the sector and we distinguishes ourselves as a reliable supplier.

We start working with the H. Ayuntamiento de Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz. We develop municipal projects in the region, constructing urban infrastructure for Coatzacoalcos city's growth, as well as executing hydraulic concrete pavement projects, drainage systems, potable water and lighting, among others, besides carrying out projects in zones susceptible to floods like rain collectors, etc.

At COPAVISA we are committed with the highest quality, thus, we commence the development of all processes for quality management, working on quality management processes and procedures manuals to obtain the ISO 9001:2000 regulation certification.

We obtain the ISO 9001:2000 certification, spreading all processes and procedures based on such regulation to all the Company's areas.

We sign a contract with the Water Commission of Veracruz State and consequently develop the potable water distribution network system for all the Cazones zone, in Veracruz.

We branch out to gas pipelines construction and general maintenance, achieving promptly to position ourselves in this sector. We begin activities with the regional industry, with companies such as CELANESE, with the general construction of the 18” diameter gas pipeline for sour gas transportation, including the supply, construction and operations start-up, in swampy access and solid ground roads.

Based on outstanding results, we achieve qualification in the industrial sector and sign a contract with the New Veracruz Complex, FERFEMEX, developing the construction project of a 16” diameter new pipeline for phenol transport, located within a new complex.

We won the first contract with Pemex Exploration and Production, North Region for the construction and rehabilitation of flexible pavements of roads in the Veracruz Integral Asset. We actively participate in the development of necessary infrastructure for drilling logistic in the region, besides the construction of required strategic routes to achieve an efficient and secure mobilization. We optimize the development of this oil and gas production asset by building an essential highway network, lowering transportation times within the asset and being able to circulate in a safe, environmentally friendly way.

Due to the exceptional performance and results we achieved, we are invited by the Recinto Portuario for the construction of flexible pavements in the new regulatory center in Veracruz port, for the Administración Portuaria Integral del Puerto.

We affiliated COPAVISA to the National Chamber of the Transformation Industry (CANACINTRA), Veracruz municipality, becoming an outstanding member.

This same year, due to the high level of trust we created in the region, we are invited by private companies to develop the Boulevard Bruno Paglai project, which entails the asphalt concrete re-pavement of streets in the Bruno Paglai, Veracruz North Zone, Port industrial zone, with a two kilometer goal.

The H. Ayuntamiento del Municipio de Cosoleacaque's management hires COPAVISA to develop required road infrastructure, constructing appropriately a series of very important streets for the municipality.

We start the certification process with the elaboration of our Environmental Management and Health and Safety Management process and procedures manuals.

We won our second international public tender with Pemex, Exploration and Production subsidiary for the Veracruz Integral Asset. We signed a contract for the construction, rehabilitation and/or expansion of roads and platforms to exploratory and development wells in the Veracruz Integral Asset and Papaloapan B. Projects. We have the opportunity to build all the necessary infrastructure so all land drilling equipment could access and drill the oil wells, besides rehabilitate and construct required roads. This contract also includes the design and construction of a series of different size and height bridges to access the interest fields within the Asset.

We obtain the OSHAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2004 regulations certifications.

COPAVISA is considered by CNN Grupo Editorial Expansión and Time Inc., Projects Special, as one of the top 100 most important and distinguished construction companies in Mexico, within the sectors of oil and gas distribution systems, highways, roads, bridges and similar construction.

As a result of our constant necessity to expand and diversify our business within the oil sector and others, at the year's end we won with Pemex, Exploration and Production subsidiary (PEP) in the Veracruz Integral Asset, the construction of infrastructure for the management and transportation of hydrocarbons in the South Region, with the contract number 425021899. We build over 100 kilometers of pipelines in several diameters to connect the new wells to the hydrocarbons transportation and distribution network. This contract was extended in time and amount until the first semester of 2011.

In the interest of expanding our scope Copavisa starts working on various proposals to provide our services and let us know in the Southern Region assets and achieve our position in this new region , in different areas.

Aiming to penetrate other production regions in the oil field, we branched out to the South Region with the allocation of a new contract with PEP assigned to the production asset Samaria-Luna (asset with the largest land production in the country). This contract involves the rehabilitation, construction, expansion, reconditioning and supplementary projects in wells drilling locations in the South Region. We give service to the drilling unit with the construction and rehabilitation of rigs, locations and roads for the appropriate and secure access of oil wells drilling equipment.

We are internationally recognized by institutions in charge of promoting and recognizing quality in diverse sectors. We were selected and awarded the 39th International Quality Trophy New Millennium Award in Geneva, Switzerland. Furthermore, Global Trade Leaders Club, headquartered in Madrid, Spain, invites us to receive the XXI Trofeo Internacional a la Excelencia Empresarial, and BID grants us The Diamond Eye Award for Quality Commitment and Excellence in Geneva, Switzerland.

COPAVISA still has presence and ascends within the CNN Grupo Editorial Expansión and Time Inc., Projects Special, ranking as one of the top 100 most important and distinguished construction companies in Mexico.

The Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) requests the rehabilitation and construction of escape and emergency roads for the security zone in the Laguna Verde nuclear power station in Veracruz State.

We continue positioning ourselves as a reliable company in the pipeline construction and maintenance development; thus, we won an international tender with PEP, South Region. We are granted the contract for the 5 Presidentes zone in Agua Dulce, Veracruz, and we execute a broad project of well bonds, 72 wells and 8 headers, achieving a record electric wiring of over 40 kilometers.

We are granted the contract numbered 425022830 with PEP South Region to develop the roads and bridges' pavement and rehabilitation in the Integral Assets Bellota-Jujo, 5 Presidentes and/or other assets in the South Region.

COPAVISA travels to Berlin, Germany, where we receive another international award, The New Era Award, Technology Quality & Innovation, recognition granted for the commitment our directors showed by investing in quality technology development and innovation in all our operations. This same year, we are honored with The Global Award for Perfection Quality & Ideal Performance and the International Diamond Prize for Customer Satisfaction, both granted in Rome, Italy.

Through the public international tender, PEP allotted us the contract numbered 425022887, which involves the construction, rehabilitation and maintenance of coated and paved roads, bridges, courts and supplementary construction in the 5 Presidentes production asset and other ones in the South Region.

Since we are a proactive company and do not compromise our products and services' quality, we were granted the international award Century International Quality ERA Award in Geneva, Switzerland. Additionally, we received the XXII Trofeo Internacional a la Excelencia Empresarial in Madrid, Spain.

Once again, we are considered within the CNN Grupo Editorial Expansión and Time Inc., Projects Special, ranking as one of the top 100 most important and distinguished construction companies in Mexico.

We work directly with the certifying company EQA in audits and talks to regulate and implement all changes to go from the ISO 9001:2000 to the ISO 9001:2008 regulation. Likewise, we advanced to the environmental management regulation ISO 14001:2004 and SAST OSHAS 18001:2007, regarding health and safety.

Due to our considerable growth and evolution, our founding members begin the institutionalization and corporate governance phase in order to expand, improve our organization and increase experience; hence, modifying our capital regime from a variable capital corporation (S.A. de C.V.) to an investment promotion corporation of variable capital (S.A.P.I. de C.V.). Thus begins an evolution, maturation, transformation and business' growth process. We are aware of the constant changes at a local, regional, state, national and international level, therefore we are prepared to adapt and continue the generation of these changes, becoming a leading company in all sectors where we have presence.

Once the maintenance program for the Production Integral Asset 5P's roads that took place in 2012, 2013 and part of 2014 was concluded, we were convened to execute one of the most representative projects for PEP in the Samaria-Luna Production Asset. This project signifies a challenge for our Company, for it involves construction mainly in a swampy area, with high flood risks and severe conflicts with the nearby communities. The highway has several essential functions, since it connects the Samaria-Luna Production Asset with PEP's South Region headquarters, it reduces transport times for all workers and executives, resolves serious traffic problems in the state's capital and acts as a detainment wall in case of floods –due to its topography, the bank's height protects nearby communities–. This A2 highway's construction “Camino general Iride – Carrizo de 7.7 km” provides vast benefits for our client and the general population, given that an important direct economic flow in the region is produced, generating a considerable amount of direct and indirect jobs.

We are awarded the XXIII Trofeo Internacional a la Excelencia Empresarial in Madrid, Spain. Additionally, we receive the Quality Achievement Award granted by the European Society for Quality Research (ESQR) in London, England.

We continue working in the projects assigned by the oil industry Samaria Luna in several locations, executing social projects with mutual benefits.

In order to improve and continue our quality, safety and environmental protection activities, our processes and procedures are audited and we obtain the certifications updates: NMX- SAST 001 – INMC – 2008 / OHAS 18001: 2007. NMX –SAA-14001-INMC – 2004 / ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 9001:2008 / NMX-CC-9001-IMNC-2008.

Currently, our Company continues to provide services for the oil and private industry. We participate in several tenders seeking new markets that are profitable and generate experience diversification. Likewise, we continue our corporate governance development, operating with new regulations and guidelines.
