Outstanding Project

Last March, 2015, the inauguration of the rehabilitation and expansion for the 7.8 km long alternate route, Batería Samaria II, Campos Íride – Carrizo y Cd. Villahermosa took place, where Pemex directors and COPAVISA personnel were present for the symbolic ribbon cutting.

The project comprises all necessary elements to contribute to Mexico’s development. It resolves traffic jams that existed at the entrance of one of the most important oil and gas cities in the country –Villahermosa–, since it works as an alternate path for the zone’s inhabitants, visitors or passing travelers, and it accelerates access for directors in the Samaria Luna Production Asset (Pemex). This route also generates a valuable contribution regarding communication infrastructure for the country and innovative access solutions, causing development and investment in the region. This road is designed to act as a hydraulic detainment wall to control floods, safeguarding nearby communities and low parts in the region. Furthermore, it has two superhighway wide lanes for the users’ fluidity and safety.
COPAVISA fulfills one more challenge delivering a quality project, regardless of the field’s obstructions and the zone’s materials, for the ground is unstable since it is a swampy region near rivers. We managed all materials with special treatments to ensure the project’s quality.
